The IDMC’17 will hold an exhibition called “Innovation Zone, I-Zone,” in the main exhibit area. The 2017 I-zone IDMC will be held on September 20-22. This exhibition offers an opportunity to demonstrate the prototype of high-efficiency display and lighting technologies. All proposals in this related fields are welcomed. The committee will evaluate and select the strongest proposals to receive a free space within the I-Zone.
The applicants with accepted proposals will receive an NT 5,000 (receipt is NOT required). Other expense including travel and lodging will not be covered. After the exhibition, the committee will select the winners of the most valuable invention, the best student prototype, the most original prototype, and the most attractive (voted by registered attendants) awards, with a prize of NT 100,000, 50,000, 50,000, and 20,000 respectively in IDMC 2017.
Submissions are due by July 31, 2017, and should include a 200-word abstract, a two-page summary describing the prototype and the potential applications, and any relevant photographs, videos (up to 3 mins) or diagrams. Selected participants will be notified by Aug. 31, 2017.
Purpose: To offer a space for researchers to demonstrate their prototypes and give all attendants a chance to preview the newest technology of high-efficiency display or lightening.
